The pedigree of Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve de father of Hatano is an accumulation of the best European show jumping horse sires. All stallions in the first four removes of Tangelo's dam's line have performed at international level in show jumping. Inevitably Tangelo made his breakthrough at international level in 2004 and had remarkable achievements under Roelof Bril. His sire Narcos II (Fair Play III) is amongst the best sires in French breeding. Also dam's sire Laudanum xx is one of the foremost show jumping horse progenitors in the world. Tangelo's grandam Racyona Z was bred at the famous Belgian stud farm Zangersheide. In combination with Cor de la Bryère Racyona Z also produced the licensed stallion Colorado Z. The dam's line continues via Almé Z to the Hanoverian foundation dam Grata Z, a daughter of the progenitor Gotthard. His lift-off, wellrounded jumps and excellent leg technique, a surplus in power and carefulness make Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve one of the most remarkable horses in his age group. He is also doing brilliantly in breeding with two sons already licensed: Triple was champion at the NRPS and Vigaro (Zangersheide) came second in the quality inspection for four-year-olds in Geesteren 2006.                                                                             That the offspring score highly for type and free jumping was confirmed at the mare.

Athena, Dorado’s mother is a daughter of the World famous stallion Concorde, He has proved himself as a top producer of international sport horses e.g. Conquest II, Kathja, Audi’s Jikke, Isabella, Larino and Viktor Marius Claudius proved themselves at the very top at Grand Prix level.                                                   Robijn VDBH Z " Global Platinum Maktub" the sister of Athea v/d Bosbeek won a lot of international victories under the saddle of Philippe Lejeune, later she won the World Cup in Manila and the golden (team) & silver medal in 2005, under Toni Leviste during the South East Asian Games, she had been even selected for the World Cup Final in 2006, and died some days before.
