Father of Dorado is the stallion Nabab de Rêve, son of the famous Quidam de Revel, was a very successful showjumper with rider Phillippe Lejeune. In his top year 2002 Nabab stood on the 15th place on the FEI World Ranking List. This was due to of the following results: 2th Grand Prix Dublin, 2th G.P. Maubeuge, 4th in the Nations Cup series, 2th in N.C. Donaueschingen and 3th in N.C. Aken. Furthermore he was declared the best horse of CSIO Luzern and Dublin, and he won the bronze medal on the Word Equestrian Games in Jerez. Some of his offspring performing at GP level are: Vigo d’Arsouilles, Kashmir v/h Schuttershof, Le Rêve de Nabab, Freestyle, Paradigm, Valentina van 't Heike , Nabab’s Son, Surrealist v/h Paradijs, etc.         Nabab de Rêve stands at the top on 5th place in the rankings of the WBSH breeding stallions ( 2008) together with Darco, Quidam de Revel, Argentinus and Concorde.
 

Athena, Dorado’s mother is a daughter of the World famous stallion Concorde, He has proved himself as a top producer of international sport horses e.g. Conquest II, Kathja, Audi’s Jikke, Isabella, Larino and Viktor Marius Claudius proved themselves at the very top at Grand Prix level.                                                         Hi stands at the top on 4th place in the rankings of the WBSH breeding stallions ( 2008) together with Darco, Quidam de Revel, Argentinus and Nabab de Rêve.                                                                                Robijn VDBH Z " Global Platinum Maktub" the sister of Athea v/d Bosbeek won a lot of international victories under the saddle of Philippe Lejeune, later she won the World Cup in Manila and the golden (team) & silver medal in 2005, under Toni Leviste during the South East Asian Games, she had been even selected for the World Cup Final in 2006, and died some days before.
